Here at Whittle and S’more we hope to inspire children to learn and explore holistically, allowing them to express themselves and lead through a child-centred approach where grown up’s facilitate rather than lead. In a safe environment children will become resilient and learn to manage risk, explore, discover and enjoy nature and what it has to offer.

We are a stay and play setting where children are accompanied by their adult caregiver at sessions.

Forest school is a child centred learning approach in a natural environment. It is a holistic approach that allows children to develop themselves through healthy engagement with supported risk, problem solving and self-discovery. Sessions are based on long-term learning through the cycle of planning, observation and adaption. It helps to develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on experiences.

OUR LOCATION

We are based within the village of Ludgershall, nestled between gardens and allotments in a private small, wooded area. The pathway to the entrance is up a single lane path which just fits a single pushchair. We have a secure location fenced off to keep little ones safe with, lots of space and trees to climb!

The lane to the area is quite hidden but I will meet you at the entrance of the lane on our first meet if needed.
